This is our first introduction to our note-taker. Hello, passionate note-taker.

I’ve assumed the writer is a woman, purely based on the handwriting, so I will refer to her with the pronouns “she” and “her.”

I also assume that she is the one who left this behind on the subway when I found it. The Franklin Shuttle was parked at the Franklin Ave stop before it made its way back down the line. The train stops there for several minutes before making its return trip. I spotted the tract during one of those several-minute stops. It was entirely possible that a woman could have come running back to reclaim it, and I left room for that possibility.

But we all stood clear of the closing doors, and off we went. For all I know, the tract had been sitting on the subway for longer than just a few minutes. Who knows.

Anyway, woman who owned this tract, you are also welcome to contact me. I have your book. We can also get coffee, and we can talk about Satan and aliens and “white devils.”

Friends, I can’t even read all she wrote here. I’ve tried a few times. I get exhausted in the middle where she writes on all sides of those images. I see Jah and Satan a lot of times though.

This is Carla Thomas. She wrote this tract that I am now presenting to you. If anyone should get pissed off that I am posting this, it’s her. Carla, if you want to have a chat, feel free to email me. I’d love to grab coffee. We can talk about copyright, and how you should have put it on the things you write. Even if it’s gibberish.

Do you think the Carla Thomas, aka Ihet – Sent Hotep, is the same as this Carla Thomas, the Queen of Memphis Soul? I sure hope not; she sang “Knock on Wood” with Otis Redding! But Dwight York has a past that includes a musical career, which is really the only thing that makes me think, even a little bit, that it might be the same person. What do you think?

This is Dwight York, aka Amunnubi Rooakhptah, “Also Known As NETER:A’aferti Atum-Re” aka a million other names. The NETER:A’afterti Atem-Re name is worth remembering, though, because it shows up a lot throughout this tract.

From what I can tell, this guy is a pretty bad dude. The Wikipedia article doesn’t exactly say how he had so much contact with children, but it also doesn’t sound like it was disputed that he was the child molester that he’s been convicted as (charged with something like 208 counts!). He’s currently serving 135 years in prison. (I think it’s interesting to note that he’s serving alongside the Unabomber and one of the Oklahoma City bombers.)

From what I can tell, this group is pretty dead. The compound they had, Tama-Re, has been demolished, and even a newer web site set up to fluff up York’s image has fallen by the wayside.

Still, I like the gold shoes.
